STEVEN SATER is the bookwriter and lyricst for the sensational Broadway hit Spring Awakening, adapted from the nineteenth century play by Wedekind, with a rock score by Duncan Sheik. It won 8 Tony Awards in 2007. Steven talks about its opening in London, its recent run on Broadway, and its long, long gestation period in years of workshops.
