Chris More

Chris More CHRIS is training at Liverpool Institute of the Performing Arts (LIPA), on the three year Acting (Performing Arts) BA (Hons). During his first year he played Billy in 'Billy Liar', Mark in 'Shopping and F***ing', Tony in 'Beautiful Thing' and Brian in 'Vernon God Little'.

Before professional training Chris gained a wide range of theatrical experience which includes Billy Crocker in Anything Goes (Lighthouse, Poole), Macheath in Threepenny Opera (Courtyard Centre, Bournemouth), Bobby Child in Crazy For You (Lighthouse, Poole), Jack in Into the Woods (The Studio, Poole), Tobias in Sweeney Todd (The Studio, Poole), Ko-Ko in Hot Mikado (The Lighthouse, Poole), Arvide in Guys and Dolls (The Lighthouse, Poole) and then Harry in Guys and Dolls (Barrington Theatre, Ferndown), Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar (The Studio, Poole), Judas in Godspell (The Studio, Poole), Eldest Magician in Just So (Regent Centre, Christchurch), Adam/Noah in Children of Eden (Layard Theatre, Wimborne) and Mr Brocklehurst in Jane Eyre (Regent Centre, Christchurch), Spotlight 6 and Spotlight 7 (Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth), and he appeared regularly with Vision as part of the Professional Development Programme (PDP). Chris has also had featured and supporting roles in BBC's Casualty, Channel 4’s Teachers along with other television and commercial roles, which include Privilege Car Insurance and Yell.com. Most recently he was in a BAFTA nominated short film Sertoli, Sertoli, Sertoli.

After directing and appearing in various concerts and revues, he has built up an eclectic knowledge and passion for musical theatre and performing arts.
