Keith Arrowsmith is an intellectual property lawyer, with Sprecher Grier Halberstam LLP.
He works with clients in the creative industries
throughout the country in the commercial and subsidised sectors. He
provides advice to community theatre groups, contemporary dance
agencies, pantomime writers, members of the PRS, venues, local
authorities, development agencies and others!
He has been involved in musical theatre since primary school, and
performed in amateur productions in Colchester, Keele, Derby,
Waterford and Sheffield. He has been treasurer and chair for various
groups, most recently with Sheffield Teachers' Operatic Society. He
lectures for the Clore Foundation, UK Trade and Industry, Leeds
College of Music and Leeds University. He wrote the Methuen Amateur
Theatre Handbook in 2002.
He has a wide taste in the performing arts, from stand up comedy to
classic opera. He's not likely to be seen at first night parties, but
is looking forward to roving in the regions for Musicaltalk.
